The village of Bagni di Lucca. The region around Bagni di Lucca is called Media Valley - Garfagnana and has a multitude of lovely spot and historical towns like Barga, Castelnuovo, Coreglia degli Antelminelli etc. ... all at an altitude of 500m (1500 feet). This region has attracted many Illustrious British visitors in the past two centuries Byron and Shelley, for instance, Bagni di Lucca visited many times. The thermal baths of Bagni di Lucca have been known for many centuries. Montaigne, the French writer, his illness cured in Bagni di Lucca and wrote about it in his memoirs. The two houses on the right (in the picture) have been united into a larger house, that is not offered for rental for the moment. The Annexe is the (independent) house to the left. You will have access to the garden and the river common.

Just next door are the Mirafiume tennis courts. The municipal swimming pool is within walking distance. A good supermarket can be reached in two minutes walking. The village of "La Villa" has several good restaurants and stores.

The Annexe has 2 stories, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (one with a bath, one with a shower, with only a sink and toilet), a kitchen, a dining room and a large sitting room with a fireplace. The addendum will have direct access to the garden. Accommodation is for 5 people (one single room, two double). Bed sheets, blankets and towels are provided. The house has been completely renovated (new electrical and heating system, two new bathroom).
